1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Central Coast Moving & Storage (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including but not limited to our website at centralcoastmoving.com and all associated pages, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Company Information
Central Coast Moving & Storage is a licensed moving and storage company based in Paso Robles, California, serving the Central Coast region and surrounding areas including San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Atascadero, Templeton, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Cambria, Avila Beach, and beyond. We also offer long-distance and interstate moving services.

4. Estimates, Quotes & Pricing
All estimates and quotes provided by Central Coast Moving & Storage are based on information supplied by the customer at the time of inquiry. Final pricing may differ from estimates based on actual weight, volume, distance, time, and any additional services requested on moving day. Hourly rates, flat-rate pricing, and additional fees will be disclosed prior to service commencement. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the scope of services changes materially from the original estimate.
5. Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling
To schedule services, customers may request a quote or schedule an estimate through our website at centralcoastmoving.com/schedule-estimate or centralcoastmoving.com/get-quote. Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move date. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Central Coast Moving & Storage reserves the right to reschedule services in the event of extreme weather, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for the following:
- Ensuring all items to be moved are properly disclosed at the time of estimate
- Securing or removing valuables, cash, jewelry, and important documents prior to the move
- Ensuring adequate access to both the pickup and delivery locations
- Being present or having an authorized representative available on moving day
- Providing accurate delivery addresses and contact information
- Ensuring any items requiring special handling (e.g., pianos, aquariums, artwork) are disclosed in advance
7. Liability & Claims
Central Coast Moving & Storage carries appropriate insurance coverage as required by the State of California. Our liability for loss or damage to items during a move is governed by applicable state and federal regulations. Customers may purchase additional valuation coverage at the time of booking. Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within the timeframe specified in your moving agreement. To file a claim, visit centralcoastmoving.com/resources/file-claim.
8. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service completion unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, cash, and other payment methods as disclosed at time of booking. Financing options may be available — visit centralcoastmoving.com/financing for details. Unpaid balances may be subject to collection efforts and applicable fees.
9. Storage Services
Storage services, including full storage solutions and portable storage containers, are subject to separate storage agreements detailing access rights, fees, insurance requirements, and terms of possession. Central Coast Moving & Storage is not responsible for items stored without a valid storage agreement. For storage options, visit centralcoastmoving.com/storage.
10. Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from transport or storage by Central Coast Moving & Storage:
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, and explosives
- Perishable food items
- Live plants and animals
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Currency, financial instruments, or irreplaceable documents (we strongly recommend customers transport these personally)
11. Privacy Policy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at centralcoastmoving.com/privacy-policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
12. Communications & SMS Notifications
By providing your phone number and/or email address, you consent to receive communications from Central Coast Moving & Storage regarding your move, account, promotions, and service updates. SMS message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message. 13. Website & Intellectual Property
All content on centralcoastmoving.com, including text, images, graphics, logos, and videos, is the property of Central Coast Moving & Storage and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or use of our content is prohibited.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Central Coast Moving & Storage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through mediation or binding arbitration in San Luis Obispo County, California.
16. Changes to These Terms
Central Coast Moving & Storage reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
